Our handbuilt Bluebird candlestick is a piece close to our heart inspired by midcentury ornaments. Each piece has been handcrafted from off white stoneware clay with painted decoration in underglaze, a clear glaze coat and finally finished off with gold lustre details before a final third firing.

Bluebird Handbuilt Candlestick with Gold Lustre
Each candleholder is handbuilt so a slightly different size to each other. Sizes range from approx 10cm tall to 14cm tall.
As the piece is handbuilt, the recess for the candle is unique and not a 'perfect' circle.
If your candle is wobbly - we recommend melting the end of your candle / heating the end in hot water before firmly placing in the hole to get a good fit, or use a bit of blutack to secure it in place. If the candle end is too large - shave a little bit down with a knife and heat in hot water before firmly placing in the hole.
Clear off any wax residue by soaking the piece in hot water.
Treat the gold lustre with care by cleaning with a soft cloth. Do not microwave or put in dishwasher.
